1. Who we are

Byteagle is a software company based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. We run this website (byteagle.com) and make Fair Software, an app for exporters and trade-fair exhibitors. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Byteagle, and "you" means anyone who visits our website or uses our software.

2. What we collect

• Account details: your name, company name, phone number and email address when you sign up, plus your password. Passwords are stored scrambled (hashed), so nobody at Byteagle can read them.
• Data you add to Fair Software: your products, photos, collections, price lists and catalogues, and your buyers' details (such as names, companies, phone numbers, email addresses, visiting-card photos and notes).
• Billing details: your plan and payment records. Online payments are handled by Razorpay. We do not see or store your full card or bank details.
• Messages you send us: through our contact form, WhatsApp, email or phone.
• Basic technical data: such as your IP address, browser and sign-in times. We use this only to keep the service secure and working.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Fair Software keeps a small sign-in token on your device so you stay logged in.

3. How we use it

We use your data only to provide and support our service:

• to run your account and show your products, price lists and catalogues;
• to send price lists and catalogues when you ask the app to;
• to take payments and keep billing records;
• to answer your questions and help when something goes wrong;
• to send service messages, such as your welcome email and trial or payment reminders;
• to keep the service secure and fix problems.

We never sell or rent your data, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing. We never use your buyers' details for our own marketing, and we never contact your buyers.

4. Who else handles it

We share data only with the service providers we need to run Fair Software, such as our hosting provider, Razorpay for payments and our email provider. They may use it only to provide their service to us.

If you link your own WhatsApp or Gmail account, messages you send go through those services under their own terms. We may also share data if the law requires it, for example under a valid court order.

5. Your data belongs to you

Everything you add to Fair Software is yours. You can export it anytime from the app (for example, buyers and price lists to Excel or PDF), or ask us and we will send you a copy. You can delete products, buyers and other records yourself at any time, or ask us to delete your whole account.

Your buyers' details are processed on your behalf. You decide what to add, and you are responsible for having your buyers' permission to keep and use their contact details.

6. Security

• Your data is stored on secured servers and sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
• Each company's data is kept separate. Other Fair Software customers can never see it.
• Access is restricted to the few Byteagle team members who need it to support you and maintain the service.
• Passwords are hashed, saved email passwords are encrypted, and we take regular backups.

No system is completely secure. If a data breach ever affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

7. How long we keep it, and how to delete it

We keep your data while your account is open. If your subscription ends, we keep your data for 90 days so you can come back without losing anything. After that, we delete it, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

To delete your account and data, email gauravkothari3789@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp from your registered email or phone. We will confirm the request and delete your data within 30 days. Copies in our backups are removed as those backups are replaced. We may keep payment records for as long as tax law requires.

8. Your rights under Indian law

We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules. You have the right to:

• ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• have your data corrected, completed or updated;
• have your data deleted;
• withdraw your consent at any time (we may then be unable to provide the service);
• name someone to use these rights for you if you are unable to;
• raise a complaint with us, and if you are not satisfied with our answer, with the Data Protection Board of India.

If you are a buyer whose details were added by one of our customers, that company decides how your details are used. Please contact them first. If you contact us, we will pass your request on to them.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not meant for anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. For important changes, we will also tell you by email or in the app.
